Kick-Off Meeting in Rovigo – 24 June 2026
Kick-Off Meeting
On 24 June 2026, the official Kick-Off Meeting of the Green VET Skills Erasmus+ project took place in Rovigo, Italy, bringing together all project partners for the first important milestone of this collaborative journey.
The meeting marked the beginning of a shared commitment between Italian and Maltese organisations to develop innovative VET pathways focused on green skills, digital competences and sustainable business needs.
During the meeting, partners discussed the project objectives, activities, timeline and implementation strategy, defining roles and responsibilities to ensure effective cooperation throughout the project lifecycle. Particular attention was given to the development of updated VET curricula, the integration of green competences into training programmes, the involvement of learners and trainers, and the creation of stronger links between education providers and the green business sector.

The partners also worked on the first implementation steps, including the Needs Analysis, stakeholder engagement, quality monitoring procedures and communication strategies. This phase will provide the foundation for identifying the skills required by the green labour market and designing training solutions that respond to real business needs.
The Kick-Off Meeting represented an important opportunity for knowledge exchange, networking and the creation of a strong partnership aimed at supporting the transition towards a more sustainable and future-oriented VET system.
Together, we are building new opportunities for learners, trainers and organisations, promoting Green Skills for a greener economy and a more sustainable future.
